About Brauer Consulting Group
Founded by Susan Brauer, Brauer Consulting Group has been serving clients since 2005. As founder, Susan has focused BCG’s objectives on adding ongoing value to her client’s face-to-face events by helping them develop strategic goals and measure results. She believes that a well-thought out, strategy-based, face-to-face marketing program plays an integral role in an organization’s overall marketing mix. With nearly 20 years experience in the trade show and corporate event arena Susan brings a unique approach to help clients maximize participation at their events that includes help in setting strategic, quantifiable objectives, promoting and strengthening key corporate messages and, with affiliate company Marketech Inc., providing staff training and measurement programs to continuously improve performance and bring about long lasting face-to-face marketing success.
Susan actively participates in event industry associations and professional organizations and regularly serves on boards, on task forces, as a committee member, and as a mentor, and consultant. She is also a professional speaker, presenting workshops and seminars and delivering keynote addresses around the country and via webinar. She is currently a member of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), and serves on the Board of the Upper Midwest Chapter of the Exhibit Designers and Producers Association (UMEDPA.)
Susan graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies and received designation as a Certified Manager of Exhibits (CME) from the Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA). In 2005 she was honored for her industry leadership by the National EDPA with an Ambassador Award.
